The Unseen

Qur’aanic Verse 27:65:

27:65

Transliteration:

65. Qul la yaAAlamu man fee alssamawati waal-ardi alghayba illa Allahu wama yashAAuroona ayyana yubAAathoona

Translation:

65. Say, “None in the heavens or on earth knows the Unseen13 save Allah!” And they know not when they shall be raised from the dead.

Study Note:

13. Knowledge of the Unseen (Al-Ghayb) is the exclusive prerogative of Allah Almighty. [Refer study note 3 of Chapter 2 (Manzil I)]. This is a fundamental belief in Islam. And yet, the Imam of the Masjid I go to for my Friday prayers harangues his gullible congregation with repeated blasphemy that Prophet Muhammad (peace on him) knows the Unseen besides Allah! Not only the Prophet, the Imam asserts, but awliyaAllah too know the Unseen!! How would Allah lend a helping hand to such ‘Muslims’ who so openly defy His Word!?

The above is an extract from Qur’aanic Studies Manzil V, which will soon, inshaAllah, be published on Amazon Kindle. Manzil IMabzil II,  Manzil III and Manzil IV of the series are already published.

  1. The people who claim that the Prophet (SAW) knows the Unseen are quite aware the above verse. They do it purposefully and deliberately. There are numerous evidences in Quran and Hadith which clearly mention this fact.May Allah guide each one of us in the true path.

    • Would you please clarify? Do you support those who claim that the Prophet (peace on him) knows the Unseen?

  2. thankfully there is one subject that you understand correctly

  3. YES, VERY MUCH, AND RIGHTLY SO….
Prophet Muhammad the nearest of all the Prophets to Allah did not know the Unseen!? Well, and Jesus Christ, according to Allah Himself, tells his people that “I know what you eat and what you hoard in your houses”. (He knew the Unseen)! And also according to the story of Moses (peace be upon all of them) and the Pious Man KHIDHR – the later telling Moses, a Prophet, the stories of the King who used to loot his people, the story of the boy he killed (to which Moses took objection) , and the story of the treasure under the wall he erected by the help of Moses. “”HOW DID KHIDR KNOW ALL THIS”” if none but Allah knows the UNSEEN?
Mr. Muhammad Shafi’s knowledge is limited to certain Ayats; if he studied a little more he would find that the Holy Book of Allah, the Quraan, that he is referring to, clearly states of God’s favours upon people He favoured and He drew near to Him.
For example, Nabi Solomon ruled the winds and the Jinn and many such things and hear the ANTS speak on the Earth when he (Solomon) was flying. Each one of the Prophet was given extra-ordinary knowledge and powers.

I am sorry for our Hero, Mr. Muhammad Shafi (a non-Arab) that he has not been given ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE.
It is rightly said that little “”LITTLE KNOWLEDGE IS DANGEROUS””.
People reading his Manzils should be extra careful.

    • It is most unfortunate that Shangubi is openly contradicting the very Verse 27:65 I have quoted! By contradicting the Verse, he has contradicted the Qur’aan! How will he he face Allah Ta’ala on Judgment Day? Jesus Christ, Khidr, Solomon did not know the unseen; Allah knew, and He told them about the unseen.

      • IF you had read my reply correctly, you would not have taken objection and said that “what reply shall I give to my Lord”? But you appear to be in hurry to shoot back!

        EXCERPTS FROM ABOVE..
        1) Each one of the Prophet was given extra-ordinary knowledge and powers.
        2) …..he would find that the Holy Book of Allah, the Quraan, that he is referring to, clearly states of God’s favours upon people He favoured and He drew near to Him.
My objection was your harsh words for the Imams!

      • No Imam, nor anyone else, has the right to contradict the Qur’aan which clearly states, None in the heavens or on earth knows the Unseen save Allah!

      • When it comes to Pakistanis or Indian Muslims, it is all the more difficult to discuss with them because of their lack of knowledge because they think they know it all when they know not to count the Zeros. And they will never give up their wrong argument however the other is right.
My simple advice for you is to give up going to the Masjid for Frying Day prayers , and stick to your home and say your prayers with your family leading the prayers in your own way for them…

      • To you your religion, and to me mine. Allah Hafiz. No more comments from you will be published on this space.
