Deeply Skeptical

Qur’aanic Verse 16.66:

66. Wa-inna lakum fee al-anAAami laAAibratan nusqeekum mimma fee butoonihi min bayni farthin wadamin labanan khalisan sa-ighan lilshsharibeena

66. And, indeed, in the cattle there is a lesson for you. We give you pure, potable drink of milk out of what they consume in their bellies, and drawn from excreta and blood.12a

Study Note:

12a. The production of milk in cattle – or in any mammal for that matter – is succinctly described here. From the food they eat, milk precursors, along with other nutrients, are drawn into the blood, leaving excreta behind in the large intestine. The mammary gland in turn sucks the precursors from the blood circulating in the network of blood capillaries around it, to convert those (precursors) into milk. These process details, particularly of the role played by blood, came to man’s knowledge centuries after the Qur’aan was revealed. Man was even unaware that blood circulates within animal bodies. Mankind – including most Muslims – however remains deeply skeptical of the divine origin of the Qur’aan!

The above is an extract from Qur’aanic Studies Manzil III, which will soon, inshaAllah, be published on Amazon Kindle. Manzil I & Mabzil II of the series are already published.

Mohammad Shafi

  1. Muslims may have reservations over it’s interpretation, but don’t think majority are skeptical!! Did you mean a tiny minority? A big number just read it without understanding a word!!

    • A majority of those who call themselves Muslims are skeptical. I mean it. They would otherwise have tried their best to understand and abide by the Qur’aanic instructions.

  2. no Muslim can be skeptical of origins or Quraan

Muslims may not read it and understand what it says, but they are most definately not skeptical of its origins,

even some Shia who believe that a goat ate parts of quraan and current quraan is incomplete do not say that they are skeptical of origins or quraan.

    • If a majority of those who call themselves muslims had not been skeptical they would have tried their best to understand and implement the Qur’aan! Their failure even to try to understand it is an open proof of their skepticism.

  3. Skeptical, I agree, with Mr.Shafi. For they do not speak with their mouths, but their hearts are averse.
Since they have inherited, The Qura’n from their forefathers.
