Seeking Perversity in Allah’s Path

Qur’aanic Verse 14.3:

14.3

Transliteration:

3. Allatheena yastahibboona alhayata alddunya AAala al-akhirati wayasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi wayabghoonaha AAiwajan ola-ika fee dalalin baAAeedin

Translation:

3. Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, and turn people away from Allah’s Path and seek perversity2 in it. They are in deep delusion.

Study Note:

 2. One could understand non-Muslims seeking faults in the Qur’aan, the only authentic source depicting Allah’s Path. But there are many of those who call themselves Muslims, and yet find faults in the divine Book. They say, despite repeated assertions therein to the contrary, that the Book does not have all the necessary explanations. [Refer study note 12 on Verse 13.19 herein above.] So the Muslims are busy searching for ‘what Allah has missed’ in books other than the Qur’aan or are busy concocting their own explanations.

============================================

The above is an extract from Qur’aanic Studies Manzil III, which will soon, inshaAllah, be published on Amazon Kindle. Manzil I & Mabzil II of the series are already published.

  1. Mr. Scholar

    perversity [pəˈvɜːsɪtɪ]
    n pl -ties
    1. the quality or state of being perverse
    2. a perverse action, comment, etc.

only an perverse person like you can translate this definition to the one explained in your study note.

may Allah SWT guide you, as all guidance is in his hands. and he guides those he wishes and misguides those he wishes and then they make interpretations like you are doing.

Ahadith are not about “what Allah has missed” but about the explanations of Quraan itself as practised and taught by Rasoolullah SAW.

and remember on the day of judgement don’t say no one warned you

    • The Qur’aan is self-explanatory. Who can explain the Creator’s Word better than the Creator Himself? And yet you have the cheek to say that ahaadeeth explain the Qur’aan. Therein lies your perversity, Mr Syed!

And remember, on the Day of Judgment, don’t say no one warned you!

    • “Ahadith are not about “what Allah has missed” but about the explanations of Quraan itself as practised and taught by Rasoolullah SAW.”

Brother Syed Can you qoute the Explanation of verse 6:115 from Hadith books ?
